Money as debt 0

Paul Grignon’s 47-minute animated presentation of Money as Debt<tells in very simple and effective graphic terms what moneyis and how it is being created. It is an entertaining way to get the message out.

 A lesson learned.

Well, if it’s not too geeky for you, there is a little solution for uploading the .gpx data file generated by your TomTom or other gps device and make it visible. Like in a Google map. I personally prefer to store it on my laptop and show trips i’ve made in Goolgle earth locally. There is another way and that is to show it on your personal blog, like this one on wordpress. You have to install the ROUTES plugin. The Routes WordPress plugin allows you to add geographical route information to articles and pages in a WordPress blog, map the routes using Google Maps, and create elevation charts. To see it in action, check out Jennifer’s List of Bike Trails. It’s nice but you’ll soon find out that your hosted software and php database is going to run v e r y slow and some features like twitter-plug and flickr -photopage plugin will not work or will be bugged. Something with mysql? Another way to publish GPS track logs is through a third party platform; TTSM.com Trip Tracker Sports Mate in this case. You just have to open an account and upload your track log file. In this case a little flight trip from Belgium to Amsterdam. In the background the gpx file will be unpacked (it works a bit like a csv file) and the geo locations will be putted on a map in their database. After this a small Google map will be generated and you can copy-paste the embedding code in to your own weblog of site and even in a myspace account. I think the only sorry thing is that the design is not so nice with all the screaming logo’s. I’d like to pay a little money for the ad-free version.
